DJ Soul Sista :
Following each ballet performance, the audience is invited to relax and cut loose in a post-performance celebration, where Marie-France Paquin, better known as Soul Sista, will be cooking up a custom mix as a tribute to Québec artists. Québec music of every stripe will be explored-hip-hop, singer-songwriter, traditional, rock, indie rock, Inuit throat singing, electronic music-in an up-to-date selection that paints a portrait of the vibrancy of musical creation in Québec.
Active for over 10 years on the electronic scene in Québec and elsewhere, Soul Sista first drew attention with her irresistible eclectic groove. Utterly fearless, she gleefully mixes genres to concoct surprising and joyful sonic odysseys. From Montréal to Manchester, London, and Mexico City, her soundtracks have been heard at such events as the Victoria's Secret fashion show and the V&A Museum's Jean-Paul Gaultier retrospective. In Paris, her musical musings can be experienced at Palais de Tokyo's Tokyo Eat.
