The 2005 and 2006 seasons of « Les étés de la danse de Paris » took place in the gardens of « Les Archives Nationales » in the « Marais » area of Paris. Last year, for the first time, the festival took place in the Grand Palais of Paris.
In 2008, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal's performances as the Ballet National de Cuba last year, will take place under the nave of this emblematic monument of the French capital.
For this occasion, the nave, with its impressive framework will be lighted by the famous lighting designer of the event, Jacques Rouveyrollis.
The Grand Palais has a great seating capacity (2 500 seats).
